Using Sonara
By using Sonara, you agree to use the bot, website pages, and related music features lawfully and respectfully. You must also follow Discord's Terms of Service, Discord's Community Guidelines, and the rules of any server where Sonara is used.
Features and Integrations
Sonara provides music playback, queue handling, playlist management, liked songs, saved queues, request channels, AFK tools, and server-specific music controls.
Server Controls and Premium Features
Certain Sonara settings are controlled per server, including prefixes, request channels, DJ roles, skip thresholds, saved volume settings, and premium-linked behavior. Some limits and features may differ between free and premium access, and those limits may be updated over time.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Sonara to spam, abuse music sources, bypass server moderation, interfere with platform security, infringe intellectual property, or access data or controls you are not authorized to use. Misuse may result in restriction, blacklist actions, or removal of access.
Availability and Liability
Sonara is provided on an as-available basis. Playback, search results, lyrics, embeds, request handling, or third-party integrations may change, fail, or become unavailable without notice. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sonara is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Stored User Features
Sonara includes persistent user-facing features such as liked songs, playlists, and saved queues. By using those features, you understand that Sonara may store the associated song metadata, saved names, and related identifiers so those features continue to work between sessions.
Server Configuration Data
Sonara also stores server-side configuration where needed, including prefixes, request channel settings, DJ role configuration, skip thresholds, premium-linked server state, and saved volume preferences. Server owners and administrators are responsible for how they configure and expose those features in their communities.
Moderation and Restriction
Sonara may limit or remove access to servers, users, or features where misuse, abuse, service disruption, or policy violations are detected.
Third-Party Source Limits
Because Sonara uses outside services for music playback, metadata, and lyrics, some content, commands, or search behavior may depend on limits, outages, or rule changes made by upstream providers and connected platforms.
Changes to These Terms
Sonara may update these Terms of Service over time to reflect product changes, feature updates, policy improvements, or operational needs. Continued use of Sonara after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
